These photos are from a field across the street from my home on the lake. The field is at the base of a hill which used to be a ski slope. When my development on the mountain was built 30 years ago, the builders aspired to make this the quintessential ski/lake/mountain neighborhood. But a lack of planning or something like that put the builders upside down and bankrupt. The hill which was formerly a ski slope is now a sledding slope in winter and a field for dogs to play in spring and summer. The open spaces are cut out of mountain of trees. Ferns grow wild in the summer. There are deer paths in the tall grass. Fall is red, orange, golden and brown. These photos represent the scene well.
